3 a.m. - my wife is in tears! What do I do?
by The Scotsman inwell my situation has developed a bit, any advice appreciated.. their has been a gradual building up of pressure ever since i stood down as an elder about 6 months ago.. i have been telling my wife about my doubts but have continued to attend "some" meetings.. as time has progressed i have become more open with my criticism of the org.. i mentioned the un scandal, molestation trials, false prophecy ect etc.. interestingly she does not deny these facts and yet still wants to continue as a jw.. i told her that god is not happy with people knowingly being part of a false prophet (deut 18 - etc) - starting to lay the groundwork for my exit.. she appreciates the difficult situation doubters are in - they cannot openly express their feelings for fear of jcs.. anyway, a few weeks ago we moved house which meant changing congregation.. but i felt it would be best if i did not attend meetings " at all" at the new cong so my fade could be easier.. but i could not have predicted my wifes response - when i told her it was an explosion of emotion, i mean real heartbreaker stuff.. she seems depressed at the prospect, perhaps the reality is finally hitting home.. last night, about 3a.m.
i noticed that she was not in bed.
i went downstairs and she was sobbing away to herself.. "i can't go to that hall myself!

Today is our 8th Wedding Anniversary!
by Princess Daisy Boo inso 8 years ago this time, i was running around in a mad rush - hairdressers and make up and flowers and so on.
the wedding was gorgeous.
somehow, by some miracle, we managed not to totally piss off either of our families (nic - of a catholic/anglican background and me of a jw background).

WHY do you HAVE to carry a bag of any sort? HUH?
Cause when your're having a peroid you can't exactly keep your tampons in your hand.
My hubby loves that I carry a handbag, When we're out together he keeps his keys and sun glasses and any small purchases in my bag....no wonder my back get so sore

There is a home for children here in the Cape called the House of Hope. They often look for places of safety for children that need to be removed from their home. Documents for these kids are only prosessed during business hours so when the police get to a home where the child needs to be removed on a Friday evening (this happens a lot ) the kids are place in place of safety for the week-end. I know this is not for everyone cause these children are often very traumatised and do not trust adults. But if you have the heart for it it's a good place to start and you'll be making a huge difference in these childrens lives.
I will sign up when my children are a bit older and not so demanding on my time. I think these children will need a lot of attention as some of them have been abused for years.

In my bag I have my Vent eez for asthma that's all! At home I have Septogard just incase I get the sniffles, it's very good stuff! I take Eltroxin every day too Loubelle. So I have something in common with both of you. Now if you look at hand bags and make up .... well that's another story altogether.
